Great routes, more than adequately signed, Marshall’s at dangerous junctions, good drink stations & food stops too

I've done many of the HONCs over the years dating back to the 90's. The events are always very well organised with a different course each year.

Thank you for putting on such a fantastic 2025 ride! The route is challenging enough to be a proper leg-breaker, and I really appreciate the updates and changes from previous years—it keeps things fresh and interesting.

Your marshals were outstanding, e.g. the car park and out on the course on the busy crossings Everyone was kind, helpful, and encouraging. The feed stop was perfectly placed and had something for everyone.

Please don’t change a thing, 40 years and counting!

The route was the best so far, seemingly endless off-road with few tarmac sections. Perfect for a gravel bike. Great organisation, easy to follow route signage. Can't fault it!

I’ve done 15 of the honcs and I think this was the best one route you have done. Lots of flowing trails, more off road vs road. The climb at the start was hard but rideable.
Also the lunch used to run out, but this year the team were rationing food , so we all got a bit. I had a mechanical last year & then so did my riding partner & there was nothing left, so much better this year. Overall amazing & I look forward to the next one! I rode the 75km route . Thanks to all the volunteers

Great organisation, excellent positioning of Marshalls at road junctions. Stunning views, great feed stop. Excellent value for money. Great communication and route choice.

Thought the route on the 50k was fantastic this year. Quite nice to stay away from Cleeve Common and see a bit more of the surrounding area. Brilliant, well done!

Very well organised event and without a doubt the best stocked feed station I have EVER seen. Mostly gravel riding, some big climbs and big views.

Signage was particularly good this year, hats off to all the marshals who did a great job
